10th Anniversary Toronto Women’s Expo Eminence Awards
What’s the Process?

After being nominated, an email of confirmation will be sent to the nominator as well as the nominee to confirm the submission.
The nominee has the last choice of being part of the awards or not. They have the opportunity to sign the release form and allowing us to include them in the awards as well as posting their nomination on the www.TorontoWomensExpo.com website and social media or choosing to opt out of the entire process.

The awards committee will ensure all the details are provided so our independent vetting and judging team has all the information they require to choose the appropriate winners of the Eminence Awards. The independent team will be arms length from the Toronto Women’s Expo so that the decisions are not impacted by those within our Toronto Women’s Expo community.

All other details are on the Short and Long forms of the nomination rules.

Anyone can be a nominee of the awards as long as they are not an employee of Toronto Women’s Expo. Volunteers of the event are not employees and may be nominated by someone other than themselves.

How do we choose the winners?

The independent judging team will decide as a group, who has made the most impact by using detailed criteria to choose the person most deserving of the award. Time, exposure and type of impact will be part of the criteria but not the only decision-making tools. Every nominee will be taken into consideration on an individual basis.

Awards committee and the independent judging team will be asked to sign a confidentiality agreement as to not release the winners prior to and during the actual Gala presentation has been completed. The winner will not be known to anyone other than the vetting team, until the envelope has been opened on stage at the Gala on September 27th, 2021.

Eminence Awards Winners

The winners will be announced at the Gala on Mon. Sept. 27th, 2021 at Paradise Banquet Hall in Vaughan during our celebrations.
Regardless of the outcome, we thank our nominees ahead of time for their poise, appreciation of nomination, grace and celebration of all who have been honoured as well as the winners of the awards.
To be nominated is an honour and does not reflect the impact one has made on their community if they do not win the award at the Gala. We thank everyone for their service to their communities and support their continuation.
